This is an amazing pedal built by Providence Pedals I use it in the loop of the Mystic Blues amp to give me a little echo - this pedal is extremely good and retains the original signal analog from input to output unlike any other pedal so it dosn't mess with your tone. Providence SOV-2

This is an amazing pedal built by Providence Pedals and I it use all the time because of its ability to not mess with your guitar tone. It gets a really nice Dumble type overdrive. You can visit thier website by clicking here . I use this mainly for my strat sounds and also use a Providence Sonic Drive for the Elite and Strat OD sounds.

Guitars

This guitar is a Fender Custom Shop based on the Fender Esprit Ultra design. I've used this guitar a lot in combination with my Strat on the forth coming "Uptown!" album. I always use it in single coil mode and never in humbucking mode. It has a really unique sound and nice big chunky neck!

I aso use a couple of strats one is set up for standard tuning with 11 gauge strings and has a nice big neck and big frets and has installed Suhr pickups, the other is set up for slide and has high action big strings and with this guitar I have a valco lapsteel pickup and a Teisco gold foil pickup in the neck position.

Mystic Blue Star

This is my main rig which consists of a custom built Mystic Blue Star 100watt amp, its actually based on the Dumble Overdrive Special non-HRM platform and is tweaked by amp wizz Tommy Cougar to my tastes. I use it along with a Catulator effects loop (pictured left) and I run a Providence Chrono Dlay and Wet Reverb pedals (not pictured). Mystic Blues "Sally"

This is my backup Mystic Blues amp (on loan to me from my good friend Dave Gillan). Its a 50 watt ODS style head which I use for recording and smaller shows. For more information on Custom By Cougar amps click here

Pedal Board

I like to keep things pretty simple in regards to pedals: Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, Fulltone Clyde Wah, Providence Sonic Drive 5, Providence SOV-2 OD, Monster Pedals Swamp Thang Tremolo and channel switch for the Mystic Amp and a Korg Tuner. All the cables I use for my setup are made by Providence including a very special purple cable that goes from the effects board to the amp.
