Journal March 2008:
Ramon is the special guest on saturday at The Retreat, Bocking Essex with Boo Boo Davis and his band on saturday 23rd March (Boo Boo and Ramon made an album together back in 2006)- we will post some clips/pics of the gig very soon! The Beavais Festival shows in France this month went down very well and we hope to get back there very soon. The "journey into the blues" album is now avaible for sale from the website or from gigs, however it will not be avaiblle from shops or other online sites. We will go into the studio in early summer to record an original album for full general release.

A new improved forum added hereThe debut Ramon Goose album ("Journey into the Blues") is now finished and will be available to purchase in Jan 2008.Its a departure from the previous albums Ive made -Ive chosen to record 12 compositions by Blues artists that I respect have been influenced by.
Journal October 2007:
Great News - the band will make the first trip into Europe with some festival dates next year in France. Tracks from the BBC Suffolk Blues Fest earlier this year were aired all this week.
The new album is underway with half of the sessions completed.
I am involved in a world music project called DNA Triangle project which will also feature Pee Wee Ellis. (USA) and Hilaire Chaby-Hary. (Senegal) along with my band - Eric Ford and Akos Hasznos and also musicans from West Africa and the US -there will be 5 days of workshops and performances around the UK! click here for more details .

Ramon Goose was featured on BBC Radio 2 this week on the Paul Jones show with his new production/performance on Billy Jones "My Home Town" album. click here to hear the show. Its been a great couple of months for the band performing many festivals over the summer. We've got some more dates coming up and the website will be updated with these soon. The debut album is well underway with a release date early next year.

The Band performed two great gigs this month at the Bee-hive in Swindon and also the Headgate Theatre in Colchester many thanks to all those who travelled to see the show! We have a few more dates coming in so check the tour page. We are currently still making the debut album which feature some great musicians (more details soon) and a full blown tour will happen later this year.

Catch Ramon Goose Band live on air at Digital Blues on Wednesday 18th April 2007 between 8 & 10 p.m. on Phoenix FM, 98fm in Brentwood, Billericay & surrounding areas and live on the internet at www.phoenixfm.com - you can also download a podcast of the show! Ramon Goose band will be appearing at the Great British RNB festival on 26 August for both a daytime acoustic and an evening electric show!!!

Ramon is currently working on the debut album which should be finished by summer and out in the Autumn! It will be a different direction from previous projects (nublues and Boo Boo Davis) but will still have a very modern edge to it.In the meantime be sure to catch the Ramon Goose Band at a venue near you!
